Use 2 Cups water per 1 cup dry rice and Add 1 tsp oil or any seasoning if desired.

Heat 1 tbsp coconut oil in a large pot on medium heat. Cook 1 chopped onion and 2 chopped garlic cloves until soft. Add 1 tsp turmeric and cook for a minute, stirring constantly.Add the rice and stir until it is fully coated yellow. Add 15 oz of coconut milk, 2 cups of vegetable broth, and salt to taste. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce the flame to low until the rice is tender.
