Hearty and healthy! Tough to find both in one place? Well, not anymore!

We believe that preparing healthy food should not be a chore and should be something you can enjoy with ease. Every month we bring you our BOX OF THE MONTH, curated by amazing people who are passionate about healthy eating and love to share their recipes with the world.

This month, Ola at (@milkedsomecashews) brings us two yummy recipes.

Salted Peanut Butter Cup Latte and Sunshine Bircher Muesli.

These recipes are loaded with the goodness of Cacao Powder, Omega Superseed mix, Maca Powder, and more amazing herbs and salts. After all, there is nothing that our cacao powder, maca powder, and a sprinkle of cinnamon can't fix!

Let us tell you about the magic these ingredients are capable of:

Cacao Powder:

Densely packed with iron, magnesium, and antioxidants, cacao powder maintains the health of your heart. Raw Organic Cacao has over 40 times the antioxidants of blueberries. Yes, 40 times! It's interesting to know that it also works as anti-depressants and can easily be incorporated in the diet through smoothies and brownies!

Maca Powder:

Did you know that maca powder does wonder by increasing fertility and helps improve your mood even during menopause? Whether you want to improve your mood, increase fertility, or maintain the health of your heart, Maca Powder should be your go-to superfood!

What's in the box!

WHAT YOU NEED

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup freshly brewed strong coffee
  • 3/4 cup warmed cashew milk
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon creamy peanut butter
  • 1 tablespoon or more to taste honey/maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon maca powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
  • a pinch of pink salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon dried goji berries
  • 1 tablespoon coconut flakes
  • 1 tablespoon pepitas
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds,
  • 1 oz triple seed mix
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons sour coconut cream

For serving: fruit of choice (I used a mandarin), nut butter (I used coconut-peanut butter), honey/maple syrup (optional), bee pollen, granola (i used grain-free granola), cinnamon and more triple seed mix.

Dark chocolate melted with a bit of coconut oil, peanut butter and flaky sea salt (optional)

HOW TO MAKE

Salted peanut butter cup Latte

In a high-speed blender, blend all the ingredients for about 2 minutes until smooth and foams. Serve with a drizzle of peanut butter, melted dark chocolate, and a sprinkle of flaky sea salt, if desired.

Sunshine Bircher Muesli

The night before mix all dry ingredients, add the wet ones, cover and leave the mixture in a fridge overnight to soak. In the morning, stir and add more cashew milk if needed. Serve with toppings.
